Who could imagine a gift so great
That Jesus’ blood was shed for me
Lost in rebellion caught in my sin
He died so I could be redeemed

That my God laid down His life
My true salvation almighty One
All praise to Him the wondrous Christ

What love would offer such sacrifice
That He would leave His Father's side
Make Himself nothing take on my shame
